Please can somebody help me. I have posted a few times on here about my allergies to Guinea pig's. I have tried everything now but it's getting worse. I have just been away for a week and started to feel better but since I came back I am so stuffed up and my eyes are so itchy. I have air purifiers on in every room and dosed myself up with antihistamine but it's not working. I know in my heart I have to rehome my 5 girls but I can't bear them going to a stranger. they truly are pampered piggies and I would love to know if anyone on here could adopt them. a massive ask I know. thanks in advance xx

Sorry to hear your having to rehome. If you post this over on the rehoming section then you may get a better response. You may also find better luck of rehoming through a rescue as they can vet any potential homes too.

As Abi said I'm sorry to hear your having problems x I wish I could adopt them :c But I don't have any room. I'm sorry again x

There's a rehoming section of the forum that you could post further details about where you are and about your girls to see if you get any interest.

You've probably already tried, as you've been suffering for a while but have you tried different types of hay? I know a lot of people actually suffer hay allergies, not allergies to the pigs. I'm usually fine but there is an odd time when I get a bit of hay dust up my nose and it gets blocked up and itchy for days.

I was just reading a post from someone wanting a herd ... hope they see this thread.

The post is from ClaireHobb. She is looking for a group but don't know where she is.Might be worth pm to her?

Just pm her, trouble is they are indoor pampered piggies and not used to living outside x

Mine are pampered in a heated shed, so outdoors is not always a bad thing. ;)
