I just found this today on Honey like 5 minutes ago. It's on her lower back. Her sister Lumen doesn't have any on her. Honey is still eating and acting normally/no behavioral change.

Are they prone to dry skin? Or could this be from an piggie fight they had? Or should I take her to the vet?

Taking her to the vet would be the best option. It could be fungal or mites. Is her skin all scaly? Are there any more red bumps? Is she really itchy? Sorry about the questions overload there :)

No, questions are good! It helps me figure out what's going on.

Yes, it's dry/scaly like. I've seen her scratch herself more so than Lumen. That seems to be the only area on her that's irritated. I checked her belly and under her chin too.

I emailed the closest vet for an appointment and should get a call in the morning. Everything was closed by the time I found this.

Yeah, it might be mites or a fungal infection. Both look similar so it's difficult to tell which it might be. Well, good luck there! :)

Got her checked out and the believes its an infection but is also testing for ringworm. Honey's on meds so we'll see if that helps!
