Help too small of a cage parents won't let me get bigger one

Hi I have a big problem. My guinea pigs are in a cage that they can barely move in and my parents say that they're ok with what they got and we don't have enough space for a bigger cage for them. What do I do? They said I can either drop the thing about a small cage or we can get rid of them, I don't want to but I will get rid of them if they have a better chance of life. If you would like to see their cage I can take picture of it. I'm asking for suggestions.
 
Please show us a picture of your cage. it would also be good to know how much floor time do they get? do they have a run outside? although this doesn't make up for cage size it would help us to better understand their situation.
 
One of them won't let me take him to the floor time area and the other gets about 20 minutes every week but will be getting more soon. Cage pic will come later today.
 
What size is the cage you have? Encouraging additional floor time daily while you save up to buy a bigger cage might be an option if your parents aren't wanting to buy one
 
Try herding him into a box or something to carry him over for floor time, they could do with having floor time every day especially if this is the only space they have to run and let off steam. Also if they are boys it is even more important that they have the correct cage size as they are likely to fight otherwise. Is there any way you could attach a large run to the cage and give them constant access to this to effectively expand their cage. Also have you tried adding up how much it would cost to build an appropriate c and c cage, they are much cheaper than store brought cages and your parents may not be aware that 4x the size does not have to equal 4x the price.
 
I agree with floor time daily, as many hours as you can manage. As said, and especially if they’re not yet out of their teenage months (4-14 months), the lack of space greatly increases the chances of a fallout between them.

Herd the other piggy into a box as suggested above, or something like a cuddle sack. Also put boxes etc in their floor area.
