Help - what does this noise mean ?

my 2.5 month old guinea pig has started making this noise the past 72 hours. we’ve only heard it 4
times. it’s often after eating but doesn’t happen every time. she’s still eating fine, doesn’t seem lethargic and is still putting on weight. please help!

She sounds like a piggy who is having a big sneeze She should be fine, but if she has a runny nose or crusty eyes and or other breathing sounds she might have an infection and would need a vet. But a few sneezes by themselves shouldn't be a problem. Piggy sneezes are quite loud.

thank you so much for your response! both pigs had a respiratory infection when we got them… we’ve been back and forth to the vets and on a 2 week course of antibiotics&anti inflammatory. last course was finished on tuesday. she has been sneezing a lot before this noise but it’s so much quieter and like a ‘normal’ sneeze… when she first made this sound it was like she was trying to be sick? although i know that’s not possible! i’ve had pigs in the past and i’ve never come across a noise like this, it’s completely thrown me off!

I'm sorry to hear your young piggies have had nasty infections. My piggy Polo has strange breathing sound episodes and is on an anti inflammatory and antibiotic. It's difficult to know exactly what is going on inside. I hope your piggies get better soon.
