this is the sow we are adopting from cavy haven. she is coming here next wheeeeek! yay!

really excited but nervous aswell as i really want her and chesney to bond!

the sow doesn't have a name. :( we have looked at so many names on the net and none seem right so we thought we would ask you lot!

she is black and white and has a small brown bit on the top of her head near her ear, you can't see it in the picture though. :)

her face looks so much like my oscars face - he is black and white with a ting bit of ginger on his face

here are what my girls are called if you wanna pick one of there names

holly
meggie
amber
lilly
poppy
ruby (rip)

i think its important to find a name which suits them

My 8 year old daughter Emily said awww so cute...Milly! :(|)

people keep saying names to us that begin with 'm' so she must look like she needs a name beginning with 'm'!

i like meggie and milly, and my bf and my mum both said maggie!

we also thought if marley aswell. :)/COLOR]

I would name her Patch ... I had a piggy I named that many years ago just because she had a patch over one eye. It certainly suited her!

this is a coicidence I was talking about a name begging with m at work today and was thinking it was a lovely name and if I ever get a girl piggie thats what she will be the name is "mia" I think it is a lovely name.

marley can be for both male and female. :) i like unusual names aswell!

i like maggie, poppy, marley so far. :)

Jane Scrooge's mate wasn't he! Ah good old Dickens, now I want a Dickens Pig! :(|)

I love Dickens work!
And Oscar Wilde.

Love the name Dickens, I would love a houseful of pigs to name (come to think of it, I have got a houseful of pigs, and I'm meeting Helen on Friday for more! rolleyes) Could have a whole Dickens them going on. xx :(|) :(|)

is she from the Winsford rescue? I can't remember who it was I advised to go there...:{
Anyway she's lovely and Marble really suits....x>>

yep, cavy haven in winsford. :)

i don't know about the name again now! i think we are going to wait until she arrives and see what we think then! :)

I'm suggesting the obvious...because she is black and white...she looks like an OREO cookie to me!...and I'm sure she is sweet, so OREO!

awwwww do what i did, i whispered in their little ears ( my two new girls to be...) and they wheeeeeeeked so i thought yup that's it :)

You'll know once you have her home, i'm sure she'll show her personality, btw she is very very cute x)x)x)
