Pebble is lucky to have you
That’s ok. It made me smile.@weepweeps
I'm sorry I kept referring to Pebble as Pebbles, further back in this thread I think.
I don't need to tell you to enjoy each day with Pebble, because that's exactly what you're doing.
Sweet boyI know.. I don’t think we will have too long. But he’s already had 4 extra happy days with me and Patrick since the vets. Each day is a blessing.

Just re reading your post @Piggies&buns. Should I start Pebble on potassium citrate. A friend of mine gave it to her rabbit for 6 weeks and the stone disappeared! It was a big stone.Glucosamine supplement helps coat and replenish the natural glucosamine layer in the bladder of piggies suffering with sterile cystitis. It, along with painkillers, is the treatment for this condition.
Calcium is not involved in Sterile cystitis (so that’s why potassium citrate is not mentioned in this condition) but a good (calcium) balance in the diet is needed for all piggies anyway.
We have seen many piggies on the forum who respond very well to it. It is a well recommended treatment by specialist vets in this country
Potassium citrate being used as a preventative for piggies who have previously had stones (although there is no reliable treatment to dissolve existing stones). Glucosamine can still be given as a way to help relieve and replenish the bladder of damage caused by stones or sludge. Glucosamine is not a treatment for stones though.

Have you heard about it working on rabbit stones? You would have to talk to your vet.
Potassium citrate will not do anything for any existing issues. It might help prevent new stones from forming
