Has anyone bought smaller sheets of correx and taped them together? Does it work ok, what tape do you use? Does the tape over time curl up or ever leak?

What are the exact measurements for a 5x2, including the 6 inch lip around?

Thanks a million

Andrea

I have noted the dimensions from cavy cages now, overall it needs to be 83 x 39 inches.

So...these on ebay should work as I would need 4 to make the base, with 1 left over.

£23.70 altogether. I know I could get it for £15 from a sign maker, but I will have trouble getting it home as the ones I have rang say they either don't deliver or its £5-10, so for the sake of a few pound I might aswel have the conveinience of buying it online.

Hi
I have black correx which I got from Travs Perkins. Theydo deliver but as you say, delivery costs probably more than the correx!

Use a strong gaffer type tape, you can get some the same colour as the correx perhaps. It does lift at the edges after a while and will need to be re taped.

Thanks. I have ordered those 5 pieces from CPS now.

I have also been to the local diy shop and bought the supplies to put the cage on a piece of MDF on metal legs. Main reason being because my African Pygmy Hedgehog wanders around a lot in the room, and I hate to think what would happen should she climb inside! She is a brilliant climber and I have been using the grids to block of the area around a radiator and she can climb up to the top and over!
