Cocker Caviary :)

Our new Mum has diarrhoea this evening, she and pups seem alert and fine and I am removing the veg as she hasn't touched it...any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Get to your vet asap. First thing if possible.

It may not be due to veg and she's a new mum who needs to be in tip top condition too.

How is she this morning?

I don't know enough about new mums to know whether it could be hormonal related or tied in somehow with the birth, but as Lisa says she needs to be in good condition in order to look after her little ones. :)

Has she seen the vet? How is your mummy?

Make sure that she drinks plenty (if necessary syringe her).

All fine and dandy

Thanks to everyone, the loose stools were a very short lived thing, she is a wonderful mummy and all are doing well.

We are looking for a similar cage mate for her after this litter has departed. If anyone knows of any sows of 4-7 months needing a pal in Bournemouth or a neutered boar. (My daughter loves teddies or tri coloured piggies) :)p
