Help with giving antibiotics please

Hi everyone, just got back from the vets, we took bee because her sneezing had not improved and the vet thinks its a mild respiratory infection and has put her on a short course of antibiotics, i just need some help with how to give them? i gave her her first dose before and she struggled a lot and squeeked and i doubt that i got all of it in her, i was trying to do it slowly so it didnt get into her lungs but not too slowly because she didnt like it. Is there any way to hold her to stop her struggling so much so i can get it over with, without a stressful ordeal for her? i felt so cruel! She's been through mites, a fungal infection, fighting with her cagemate and now this in just 3 weeks poor little thing! Please help! Love Emma x

If she is fighting a lot,try towel wrapping her,so only the head is free.That way she cannot knock the syringe out of your hand.What I sometimes do is stand the pig on a flat surface facing away from me, pull the pig up onto his feet with my left hand under the front paws.I hold the pig firmly against me and syringe with the right hand.

towel wrapping is an excellent idea
Also make sure if your not already that the syringe goes in at an angle not straight down as this can be uncomforatable for them and also its more likely that the medicine will go in their lungs!.

If its baytril it also tastes yuk so try a tiny pinch of sugar miixed in or there was another post about bayril and things you can add to make it taste better.

I remember reading on here that some people mix the baytril with a little natural cranberry juice
