Ok.. so Gladys and Pip live for dill & coriander.... I am struggling to keep it nice for them ! The dill seems to last 2 days max then it goes all black & slimey! Coriander just goes limp....

How does everyone store theirs?

I'd grow it. That way you can cut bits off as and when and it's far cheeper than buying the packs of cut fresh herbs

I can never get the pot ones to last so I just get packets.

I always take it out of the plastic, spread it out and bin any sad looking pieces and then wrap it in a bit of kitchen roll.

If it originally looked okay then it can last a week.

I've noticed that the quality of dill is really off sometimes. It's either not available or it's already a soggy mess.

i buy the packets ... i can only ever find dill in Morrisons or sainsburys - might try the kitchen roll trick - i do that with the green beans and they do seem to last a bit longer...

I open the packet, loosely wrap kitchen towel around it and pop it back in, I also have various bits of kitchen towel in the fridge for the veg to keep it fresh! There is a scientific reason behind this but I don't remember it, sorry! :))
