Help With New Guinea Names? :)

Hi! :) I got two beautiful guinea pigs for the first time yesterday :) and I'm struggling for names!

I have a pure white guinea pig and a mainly black guinea pig with very small amounts of blonde streaks!

Does anyone have any suggestions? They would be appreciated!

Are they boys or girls?

I think the best way to do it is to write all the names you like down and then spend a few days deciding, with my boys, Bentley and Chester i named Bentley right away because he was speedy and grey like a super fast Bentley car, but Chester took a while, i looked at his colour and thought of things like biscuit and butterscotch etc. But decided on Chester because he was just cute and friendly and Chester seemed like a friendly name.
The best names are the ones that take a while to decide.

Also think of your favourite films, disney ones make cute names, like i have a bit of an obsession Frozen at the moment so would probably decide on something like Elsa and Anna for the two girl guinea pigs haha. Or Sven and Olaf, for boys, just think of your favourite books, films whatever and see if any of the characters match your guineas personality.

Boys, I forgot too mention, haha :)

Thank you for your help :) they are still becoming familiar with their new home so both are still very shy and hiding! I will have too learn the personalities when they are more active in the new home :)

I will post pictures when they are more confident with their home :)
 
How about some pigtures to help us with suggestions :-) theres loads of names to pick so good luck OP

Id love to call a black pig Noir but I cant think of anything nice to match for a white piggy the likes of blanc doesnt really have much of a ring to them!
 
The boys names I like are:

Charlie
Oscar
George
Elliot
Thomas
Oliver
Truffles
Snowflake
Snowball
Pedro
Alessandro
Pipsqueak
Bubble and Squeak

I really like human names. Mine are/were called the first four names on the list. I have a Charlie, Oscar and Elliot, and my darling George died a few years ago.

Matt? (As in Matt Le Blanc). Maybe too oblique!
Noir is often used in relation to coffee or chocolate so you could have a look on the supermarket shelves at coffee jars for inspiration for the white one.

Our 6 yo named our white GP "Red Lazer" (she has pink eyes)!
 
Kids find the best names, my daughter named ours Anna and Elsa but I chose Storm just because that's what her colours remind me of.
 
If you like the name noir for the black piggy, I think flash is a good name for the white one! Bit random but seems to work haha.

Awwww, that's cute! My white piggy has pink eyes too!
 
We wanted to name our new pig Elvis, which the boys and I thought was an excellent name but my husband refused so in the end my 3 year old chose the name Gus-Gus

I still think Elvis would have been awsome.

Children pick the cutest names :) I'm only 18, so no children too help with that, hehe:lol: Choosing the perfect names for my piggies is so difficult!
 
I can ask my 5 year old for you if you like?
 
He said Biff, marty and spongebob lol

Biff and Marty are from his back to the future phase
 
Our boys are: Alfie, Panda and Marcus :) Kids named them, of course!
