Help with newborn please

We have had a suprise 2 babies from an older guinea pig sow that we rescued.
Didnt even know she was pregnant, anyway she had 2 babies, they are now 4 days old, both are eating and drinking fine but one of them isnt quiet right, it has a very slighty head tilt and cant move in a straight line like its littermate, it cirles alot.
Any ideas please?
 
Please have the baby seen by a vet. It could be a neurological disorder, but it could be something more serious. I am so sorry; it is always so tough when a baby is not thriving. I hope that you mum is doing well after her ordeal!

Please make sure that you separate any male pups at three weeks old in order to prevent more pregnancies by mum and/or any sisters. Piggies start VERY young!

I will take it to the vet, just didnt want to be messing around and stressing both mum and babbies out so soon after birth, the baby isnt in any distress or not feeding or I would have taken it straight away.
 
update

Took mum and 2 babies to the vet tonight.
babies weight 100 and 125 grams and very healthy.
He thinks the little one might have some kind of brain injury,possibly as a result of the birth, although he said, you will never know the full facts.
Baby weighs 100grams, eating and drinking fine, he saw baby run round in circles but said he is OK, in no distress and nothing but time can predict the baby's outcome, baby is not in any distress and vet thinks there could be some kind of damage to the cerabelham part of the brain{something I understand because I have a 12 year old dog with the same condition}
He thinks buba is a boy and the other a girl, review in 10days time.
 
Aw, sounds as though little bubba may lead a normal quality of life :))
How ironic you understand the condition as well - you were meant to be the slave to these :(|)

He's not white is he?

I had a rescue pig who had a head tilt, could only turn left, blind and deaf.
She was white with pig eyes, and is whats known as a lethal.

Make sure he's feeding well, maybe give him some time alone with mum.
I would also handle him alot, getting him used to you now will help alot later on. Also check his teeth regularly as these can be a problem.

Scampi lived to a ripe old age, and was extremly happy and a joy to have, goodluck with your little one.
 
UPDATE

Baby is growing well and almost acting the same as his sibbling, although does still have a very mild head tilt.
 
Has he stopped running in circles ? Oddly enough, found some stuff on the net today about babies doing this and remembered your boy.
It could be what is called 'Waltzing Disease' and is a neurological disorder and causes piggies to do this - have been trying to find someone who has come across this disease and how it would have been treated.
Worth mentioning to your vet maybe :)

It sounds like you're prepared to do everything for him, he's a very lucky mini x)
 
He is in NO PAIN, if he was I would have had him PTS, we have named him 'spinny pig' and the vets advise was to just leave him and see how he grows up.
Will try and upload a pic of him, I am going to try and match him up with one of my single boars soon because he cant stay with his mum and sister much longer.
 
I am so sorry about your problems. Hopefully, you can find him a laid back, caring uncle boar!
 
Aww bless him. He sounds real cute. I hope you find a nice boar match for him :)
