Ok, so it's nothing too serious but as I was cleaning out i noticed something that looked like a fungas growing on the wood (I have attached a photo at the end of the post). For now, I have put a hidey that they cant move in front of it. I dont expect you will but, if anyone knows what it is, has had any experience of it or can think of anything to get rid of it then it would be much appreciated.

I'm sure I'm just over-stressing but I dont want my girls to get ill from it. I will try to clean it off using guinea pig-friendly disinfectant- hopefully that will work! 20210105_122538.webp

I would clean it with F10 rather than a generic hutch cleaner. F10 is a vet grade disinfectant which will kill fungus. You can get it from Amazon and it comes either in ready to use spray bottles or a concentrated form which you dilute yourself (works out cheaper in the diluted form).

Ok thank you that's really helpful! I'll definitely try that.

Just realised I put works out cheaper in the diluted form - I meant when you dilute it yourself (so cheaper to buy the concentrate)
