If it was a puppy that was dumped they'd be there straight away. Its awful how these little lives don't seem to matter.

Such a shame about the SPCA it's awful how quick they were to brush you off! Its so heartwarming to see so many lovely people going out of their way to help these poor piggies . I wish I could help but I'm nowhere near Scotland. Good luck to everyone who's there to help!

The girls have found the piggies, the look very scared and are in lots of thorns but they are trying their best!

I think it’s proving challenging, they are in a burrow that is long, will keep you updated when I get updates!

Cavy Capers have posted on their face book and lots of people are willing to help who live in the area! We will get these piggies rescued!

Isn’t it possible to put a cage in front of the burrow (when people are there) with enticing food in and quickly shut it or have one that auto shuts when a piggie has gone in?

or the scent of other piggies placed into the cage?
sorry if it’s already been tried.

Its kind of a good thing too in regards to them staying safe from predators. But wish they realised they're being helped.

So spca just phones me there going to get 2 people out and make a plan to catch them annoyingly there traps won't work becasue of the weight of them but we're getting closer to getting them a massive thank you to everyone

That’s good news! There was also a lot of people on the Cavy Capers post who wanted to help so if the SPCA don’t get anywhere I think they wanted to arrange something. So glad there is still hope for them!

That would be amazing the spca didn't say when they'd be out or that so that would be amazing to try and arrange something if they don't pull through , its the thistles and thorns that are the issue but we can't seem to get through it with the garden shears we have annoyingly

Ahh that’s so annoying! Hopefully some other local people may have some tools to help!

Just been up to feed them i couldn't see them but was a lady there who was trying to catch them who had seen the cavy capers post seen 2 , this is the area they are in
