One of my friends on Instagram has been to try again today, she said the locals are doing a great job of looking after them! It looks like it could be a boy and girl though so she’s probably pregnant again 😕 the piggies came closer today so hopefully they can be caught soon!

That’s great they’re being looked after, and hopefully keeping warm enough down that burrow together! 🙈 Really hope the poor girl isn’t pregnant again but great they’re going closer so 🤞🤞🤞for them!
 
Hi everyone, I'm the friend from Instagram that was down there today with Amy. It really is just impossible to get to them with all the thorns and branches 😔 but they are getting confident, they'll come right near you but there's just no way you'd be able to go to grab them without them running! There are 3 guinea pigs we've seen, we think one is a boy and 2 are likely girls. Fingers crossed no pregnancies but of course it's likely they are... The locals who have been looking after them have been amazing, especially Amy who made this thread! I'm really thankful to be involved and it's lovely to see so many people interested in getting them helping. Really hope we manage to catch them soon. A woman who's had an eye on them for a while named the one we think is a boy Houdini 🤣, I named one of the girls Bramble, seeing as they're living in the bramble bushes, and Amy named the other girl Rose because of all the thorns around them! Keeping my fingers crossed for these wee beasties 🤞🤞❤
 
I’m so excited to hear two have been caught. Well done to all involved. Really hope the last one is able to be caught. Probably terrified now it’s friends are gone.
