Hi All,
I don't know if you remember me but I used to come on here a while ago. I used to have 4 guinea pigs called Herbie,Trouble, Pip and Squeak. Well I have come to tell you the sad news about Herbie. If you remember the story Herbie was a rescue guinea pig who turned up in my parents back garden and I rescued him from one of the cats before she pounced on him.
I had to have Herbie put down on the 13th of October as he had been a bit unwell for a couple of weeks then got better and then took a turn for the worst on the Sunday night when I was in bed. I found him lying on his side looking scared as he couldn't seem to get up.I believe he may have had a stroke so I got him down to the vets as soon as I could. The vet said I could try and keep him alive for another month but we would be back in the same position a month later so I did the best thing for my little man and had him put to sleep. My heart is still broken and even though my 3 lovely little boys still give me fun and love I will always miss Herbie as he was a right little character.
So I hope he has gone over Rainbow Bridge to be with all your lovely guinea pigs and that he is having a great time.
