I have a group of four girls. They bonded to each other first then moved into a large cage together just fine. I've bonded guinea pigs before but this next part is new.

My son had two females and after two years decided he was done so he brought them to me. My cage needs a couple adjustments so I did introductions in my bathtub. It's probably a tad small for six but I need them in a spot the cat can't get to them while I'm cleaning and setting up more room.

That said I've never had two literally jump at each other like they are trying to body slam one another and it scared me. I gasped and said "HEY!" Kind of loud and it scared them away from each for a moment. They went back five minutes later and I stood up and the movement scared them apart. They aren't biting but they are standing on their hind legs.

I hope it's going to be ok. I am sitting here a bit more before I leave to do their cage.

I would keep a very close eye on them, that doesn’t sound too good

Things did calm down thankfully. I had never seen Aoefe (my son's) behave like that, nor Seaphina. I have a scrubbie thing hanging from the faucet for my showers and at some point they both decided they wanted it. It was weird because they both looked at each other while the rest played on the other end of the tub and it was almost like they said, "if we're gonna get this thing we gotta work together" and then they took turns jumping at it to no avail lol.

After they got tired of that they laid down together to watch the rest of the girls. It was really weird. No blood drawn at any point so I guess they are ok?

I moved them into the big cage and converted everything to fleece. I am having health issues and bedding is just too much anymore. 3 trash bags full is just too much. And with the extra length on the fleece I was able to make another covered end for them.

It's in my room so I figured if they fight it will wake me up. I woke up to six lazy piggies plopped on the fleece and lots of poo. Oh and knocked over toys.

Thanks for worrying with me. I'm still watching things closely.
