I was just watching my little herd at nap time and I've noticed that there is usually one who stays awake watching out? A bit like meercats... if all the girls are asleep Theo sits on his house roof keeping watch over their next door cage even when no-one's around. Jezebel is currently staying awake eating her poops and watching me while Theo and the other girls are asleep. Often Piggle is awake in the middle of the night patrolling the cage... then Clover takes the 3-5am shift and eats the carrot house very loudly until dawn!
Does anyone else's herd do this? Do you think they do it on purpose?

I must go and check my herd - although what they get up to in the wee small hours will not be known as I shall be tucked up in my own bed.
At the moment all 4 are wide awake.

I go to bed early but piggy daddy likes to wake me up at midnight and tell me what the piggies are doing! I get a constant commentary, sometimes accompanied by the arrival in my bedroom of a piggy (usually Theo) who "wanted some cuddles" or "needed a snack". Think piggy daddy needs to go back to work, bring on september 5th!
