Herds mass bathing time. (pic heavy)

And so the herd endure their first mass fungal bathing session today. I must admit that the majority did not enjoy the experience whatsoever, but unfortunately in three days time then baths all round again for my infected little herd. Heres the story today for the piggies point of view:

Rocket: its such a lovely afternoon for a munch in the sunshine

Ozzie: Somethings up, whats slave mummy doing, i can smell somethings up
(the rest of the herd start sniffing the air)

Crumble: no its fine. (Sage isn’t so sure)

Ozzie: I'm watching you mum.... I’ve got my eye on you

Crumble: Nah, its fine, just look pretty Oz

Midnight: No, guys, somethings defiantly up, whats with the bowl of water...

Ozzie: (frowns) i knew we were in for it today

Magic: but mum, ive been so good, can i not have a treat... pweese?

Looks like you are in the pigloo for the time being! Great pics and sorry for the piggery...

I found it rather a nightmare going through the whole bathing course with my 16 piggies and just a small washing machine (not too mention all the cage fleeces that needed washing too!). My deepest respect for all the rescue people out there! There are some downsides to having a big group; and an outbreak of fungal is definitely one of them! mallethead

Haha how cute! I'm sure they still love you but can't resist showing a bit of booty at you to show their displeasure at being bathed...

This is a snippet of things to come for me. My parents are having some success treating as they see but considering I'll have plenty of time when I go home my herd will be getting a three course bath treatment just like yours to make sure it's all gone... all 16 of them. I echo Wiebke - definitely one of the downsides to having a herd.

Fingers crossed that this course you're doing sorts out the problem!
