image.webp image.webp got home from work and removed the dratted loft! The herd loved it but it was awkward to clean under it. So I did a few alterations and said loft is now a part of the main cage.

It's a 2x16 C&C cage. For 8 piggies!

How many piggies can this cage hold? Not that I am getting more, just curious

Your cage is amazing.
I love it.
Not sure about the number of piggies it can hold, but I bet that the ones who live there already are pretty happy.

Thank you Flutterby.

Poppy is in season and has been chasing Snowy around for the last ten minutes. Now he's knackered.

I don't think I need the pen for them...they have been trotting around for some time. It's half cage and half run.

Love the loft concept but didn't like cleaning underneath it.

14 sows in a 2x16.

We all say we are capped at a certain number...here I am 12 sows now. Love the cage

Thank you PiggieHerd.

I do have one boar in there with 7 sows.

Now it's bigger, I need to get more toys. we are putting another hay tray in there, where the grey one is. It's going to be the same size as the green one, as there are 8 piggies in there

I thought about adding a neutered boar with my girls, but they are rare and few in the rescues.

I expanded my cage yesterday to a 2x19 C&C and it took a lot of work.

Love the cage. Can't wait to get rid of the bed out of the piggies room so that I can expand to something like that. I've currently 3 boars in a 5x3 with a 1x3 loft. I also added a few spare grids to make them a wee platform which they seem to like, but as you say, cleaning under it is a bit of a pain, so it might have to go. Under the loft isn't too bad, as my cage is on the floor, so I get into it to clean.

Love it! Piggies must absolutely love it. Plenty of room for just one more maybe hehe.

I have extended the cage but I'm not getting any more liners, as if I downsize the cage in the future I will have surplus liners.

So for the grids that I do not have liners for I'm using puppy pads and fleece. I'm going to have a shift around with the liners as I want both ends with puppy pads and fleece. Simply because the hay trays will be going at both ends and most of that room will be used by the trays anyway. And I put more puppy pads under the trays because that is where the pigs do most of their wees and it also stops hay spreading through the cage

I want to get my cage into an L shape. It looks really good. I have 3 in an eight by two c and c cage.
