ok last year I got three brothers not knowing 3 boars dont usually live happily together. Tyrone fought the other two boys, got neutered, got an abscess and chewed at his man bits. It was a worrying time and never want to go through that again. He is fully recovered thankfully and waiting to go in with my girls. So now at 10 months Teddy and Charlie have decided to fall out big time.
They are separated now but as soon as they catch sight of each other their teeth chatter etc.
Do I re introduce them later?
Just let them live side by side divided and hope they stop teeth chattering and all that jazz.
Wait until they are bit older and get them a baby boar each or risk getting them neutered and let them have a wife each?
Why can't they just get on... blooming men x x

BIG HUGS!
Poor you; you are really going through the wars. keep the boys separated for a day or two to let them cool down. Unless they have really had a fight with serious full-on bites (as opposed to scratches from misjudged swipes), you can try to see whether they will go back together again.

If not, I would keep them as next door neighbours. We have got quite a number of fallen-out boars on this forum that can't live together but can't live apart bonded live-alongside boars on this forum - they will grieve when their mate dies, but each boy enjoys having his own territory while they still interact through the bars.
Please follow the tips in this guide here: Boars: Bullying, Fighting, Fall-outs And What Next?

Tell me about it. I love my boys but why can't get they just get along like girls lol
It was proper biting luckily I was on hand to rescue poor Teddy who is so laid back.
I will give them a few weeks to get over it and stay next to each other. The weather should of picked up and they can meet in a the 6 ft run in the garden if the teeth chattering stops. They are well fed, lots of toys and cuddles. No idea why they feel the need to have a go at each other.
Thank you @Wiebke will give them a another chance to be a pair and if they still act up then divided they will stay until they can mellow a bit x x

Sorry about boys scrapping - certainly been there! 10 months is still in full on teenage hormonal stage. I would certainly try again with them as wiebke said as they are still young and may grow up! but it might be that side-by-side works. That is what I am doing with 2 of mine but they are much older.

Last year I had 3 pairs of hormonal boars falling out and thought they would all have to live separately but I gave them all separate bedrooms, bowls and water bottles and space - I was lucky that they all sorted out their differences. One pair got separated for a couple of days by a barrier and were really happy to get back together! They still bickered for a bit but it wasn't full on attacks so I left them to it. I think it is stressful to see them battling for dominance but that is their nature and it is often not as bad as it looks. Persevere and don't panic unless it gets very nasty.

Thanks Laura. Little terrors they are. Going to give them some breathing space and try again. I'm not going to give up to easily this time xx

Its terrible. 3 pairs..how did you survive? I am going to try again but not just yet :P xx

I was really very stressed and posted on here. Wiebke gave advice and thought that only the worst pair would end up living separate. That gave me hope so I stopped worrying about the other two pairs of boars. I never let the worst pair out of each others sight and only separated them for a couple of days. I think it was sheer luck that the bullied boar wanted to be friends with the bully and was really happy to be put back with him. Funnily enough despite having his back nipped he eventually became the dominant boar. As I say sheer luck but I'm pleased I persevered. Good luck :) x
