I have 4 bows and are looking to get a shed, keeping the boys on the floor, I’m going to get Lament flooring . Also going to build c&cs above that to have females. I’m looking to rehome as I would love to give piggies a new loving home , I’m looking to use vet bed and hopefully an 8 by 6 shed and going to add separate runs so there’s no chance they’ll have babies

My sheds come from a local outbuilding company. My current shed is a 8ft x 6ft summer house. Pic below. I have two boys.
My new shed (coming in the spring) will be a 10ft x 6ft. It will have Lino floor. I personally don’t use c&c as a permanent cage in my shed, they live in a hutch and have the c&c pen as their play area. It just isn’t very easy for me to keep them warm enough in c&c cages in the shed. I also don’t use fleece bedding outside (in winter) due to it absorbing moisture from the air.
I think that it is always advisable to have sows below boars so that the smells of girls don’t flow down onto the boys. Adding girls into a boy shed can cause major problems and potentially runs the risk of destroying the bonds between boys so you need to be incredibly careful.
