hi new here,fleece cage lineing?

hi, does anyone use a fleece blanket to line their piggies cage with?
I'm just wondering as with being a firt time piggie owner, I'm useing sawdust and hay, but they're getting soiled really quickly
and read somewere that you can use a fleece and wash it regular?
is there anything else i should be doing in the way of bedding?

I use fleece with mine - wash it every couple of days minimum. They have a thick layer of newspaper underneath and the fleece is tucked around that. They have hay on top inside their pigloos for bedding.

Where do you buy your fleeces from? Would an old bath towel do?

i've just used a large fleece blanket i've had for a while i bought from new look when i used to work there ;D
its purple with teddies on so nice for girls
i've made 2 blankets out of it
they love it, Ambers popcorning all over her cage lol

In the winter I cut up an old fleece of mine and they seemed to like it. (They like it so much they don't seem to want to get off it to have a wee, thus very frequent washing required lol)

i use fleece and towels as its a lot less mess to clear out!
i also use vetbed as well which is ok but not with hay or just grass as it gets bits stuck in it!
