can guinea pigs eat peas and the pods they come in?

That's a good question, honestly no idea, but there's an instinct inside me that says it could be a choking hazard...I'm thinking of the peas. Dunno.

I read online they were fine to eat for guineas. So tried them with scooby and shaggy last week. The chewed the putter skin and weren't really bothered with the peas.
