Hideaways

Hi there,
I have 2 boars who are 3 n half years old. I built their c n c cage 2×5. Is 2 tunnels, 2 hidaways with 2 exits and a blanket enough for them? Or do they need more? They have plenty of space to run around, and they also have a loft which I am sorting out the ramp for. I just want to make sure they have the best life ever. Ginger.

Welcome to the forum, I also have a boar pair. Do you think they are happy with what they have?
My Beastie Boys have a 5x2 with a full 5x2 penthouse. I think we all wonder if our furry overlords need more than we give them
Do you have pictures of your boys, we love to drool over other peoples piggies
P.S. my boys recommend hammocks...

Your boys sound as if they are living in luxury.
Mine did love a big paper bag full of hay.
In less than a week it they would have created a back door and a side door as well as enlarging the front door.
It was played in, slept in and completely trashed.
It took an average of 5 days of fun to destroy one good quality paper bag

It sounds like your boys have a lovely space.

Our original boar pair of Hector and Hamish had a 2 and half x5 CC home. We felt they had enough room. With 2 of everything & a giant hay pile- along with occasional trips to the garden & a playpen sometimes set up as somewhere different to explore.
We have just had a bonded pair of foster piggies stay with us in a 2x5 CC. They were content, but you could tell they would have appreciated a little more space.
I think some of it comes down to each piggie pairing & their personalities.
