Hidey Houses

There doesn't look like there is a gap is there, an entrance they could get in? Or is that what you mean about converting them...?

The cheap plastic little stools are fine or you can find all sorts of houses, mine don't really need any as they are in hutches and feel very safe in their bedroom. I do keep a stick arch thingys in the main area or tunnel as well.

Bramble has hidey holes around the living room as she is only in her cage at night when its dark and there is loads of Hay.
I got Bramble a plastic Giant rabbit house for a couple of quid from Pets at home and she's never out of it!
I also made my own furry pocket out of synthetic fur which I picked up for a couple of quid. She tends to sleep in there.

I think because Pigs are prey animals they feel a lot safer when there whole body is covered so they can relax. Its the only place Bramble seems to sleep for a long time.

I like the cardboard roll tubes you can get in different sizes and also the bendy log hides. I think that converting step stools is a good idea :) Or even small storage tubs as long as you make sure any holes cut in are smooth :)

I am thinking about cutting two holes in each one to enable them to get in.

I have one of these stools and I can imagine cutting a hole in it now to use as a hidey hole :D Sadly I'm like 5ft tall so need the stool to reach the top shelves in my kitchen cupboards  but what a great idea!

I also have large sized poster tubes that are cut in half that the piggies like to run through when they are hyper but also hide in if something spooks them :)

Hi @Davey-cavy, I use these these things and a fleece igloo, boxes are best at the mo as I can throw them away regularly. Once my boys get the all clear I have the blue and yellow tunnel and I've ordered a snuggle pouch and piggy pod from Kim at just add pets (she's on here too). My boys love kitchen roll tubes (they don't have glue on like our loo rolls do) I stuff hay In both ends and pop a treat in the middle eg a few pellets (I give my boys pellets in the evening so it's a treat to find them during the day)

those are cool ideas. I like the flexible bridge hideys. I will have a look at pets at home for them.

Yes zooplus have good cabins for piggies. I usually get all mine from there but I have one from Amazon too.

i have the plastic pigloos and my girls love them .You could also get the pape mache liners for hanging baskets and cut a couple of entrances.Mine have fleece forests as well.I have litter trays with fleece pegged over and a fleece fringe as an entrance

Your set up is fantastic gloriousGuineagirl :) I would soooo love to have my boys inside :)
Thank you I want it bigger once we move I will def expand as it's never big enough! :) gets addictive building with c&c too so many exciting options. Once we get more space I will remove the lofts and expand floor as the overall space is more important than levels x
