Hello,

I was hoping some of you could help share some tips on how to apply cream around the eye area. ?/

I've tried using a cotton bud - but Floyd keeps throwing his head back or twitching his ears.

Also if they don't like something they aren't afraid to show Mum excatly how much they don't like it and I get a nasty nip :...

Any tips you can share?

Cheers!
K xx

When my boys need to get their nails cut which is a complete nightmare, i distract them with a peice of babycorn while my OH cuts their nails.
You could try something like that, they will be that taken by the veg they probably wont notice your applying the cream. :)

I have recently had to apply cream around my sows eye as she had what the vet thought might be ringworm. Just put the cream on the end of a finger and gently wipe across the eye - the piggie automatically closes its eye as your finger approaches and the cream is applied. The vet says this is how she always does it. Worked for me

I have been using surolan around a baby's eye and it has a very narrow nozzle and goes on easy. May be worth trying that?

would you have a pic of the fungal infection around the eye? we may have the same situation and have posted pics on our post (the post mentioning choking-like behaviour and losing 150 grams).

we saw dr but she thought it was just fluids from his eye sticking to his hair and then him pulling his hair out while cleaning. however, he is not spending time near his eyes at all, nor is there the drainage that would create a problem like this. his cleaning sessions are normal not more than a minute or two, and i see the hair with skin it is attached to almost coming out in clumps, as though the skin is scaling off and taking the hair with it. other than what looks to be a bloody tear within eyelid, i dont see anything else unusual.

thanks for your thoughts.
