Yesterday would have been my first skinny pig's 6th birthday, Nearly Hairless Nick. He only lived to be 2 years old though. He got sick really fast, and was gone within the hour. Now he's celebrating his birthday with Fred and Miss Missy, over the bridge. :)

He's the piggy that got me hooked on skinny pigs! :) If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have got Willow. Thank you, and happy birthday Nick :)

Aww Nick must have brought you so much joy, he was adorable and so is Willow! Happy Birthday Nick!
Is caring for skinny pigs different to hairy guinea pigs? Sorry if it's a silly question and hope you don't mind me asking, I'm just wondering :)

I just love Skinnies xoxo I think they're beautiful~

Happy Birthday, Nick! So sorry that you're not here to be treated like a king on your birthday.

Thanks everyone :)

It's fine, I don't mind you asking. There are some differences in care between skinnies and hairy piggies. Skinnies eat more so therefore they poo more :)) and need their cages cleaned more. They also need to be kept warmer since they have hardly any hair! There are no behavioral differences though. Even though they look different than hairy piggies, they act the same. :)

Thank you for answering my question, I didn't even know you could get hairless piggies until I came here, I'm going to have to go and read up on them, they look so adorable x)
