Got Rocky yesterday and am totally in love with him already. Don’t know a lot about him except he is 2 yrs old. was re-homed via PetCo, due to mother having two small children, 2 and 3, and not understanding how to handle him. but he is friendly and affectionate and not too afraid to venture out of his box to eat. Having rabbits I know a bit about small animals and the importance of their individual needs so feel I am on solid footing. But …. I am new to these cool little creatures.
But there is one thing no one seems to know. His ears, both, The edges are ragged. If there had been injury they have since healed and have no scabs. But what could have done this?

He may have gotten into a scuffle with another pig before you got him. Boars tend to be stroppy rolleyes! Have a look around the forum, feel free to ask questions, and welcome!

Fighting is not uncommon but my little boy Nibbles (in my avatar) was the runt of the litter and picked on by his sibling. It left him with ears like this:

If Rocky's are healed then I wouldn't worry. Nibbles has never been troubled by his unique little ears.
