hiya i was just wondering wether apple tree branches are any good to put into my guinea pig`s run to chew on?iam not sure what kind of apple tree it is!

I broke some off for them recently but I wasnt sure-do they havve to be thick bits or can they be little twigs? And isnt the green stuff inside them poisonous?

Don't think they're poisonous if they are apple cos some books recommend you put apple and other fruit tree branches and twigs in for them. Only poisonous ones I know of are yew and conifers (obviously others may know different - I'm certainly no expert! 98))
