I recently ordered some more grids so I can expand the 2 C&C cages that my lot are living in.

I received an e-mail when they shipped, and that was a few weeks ago, so today I contacted the company and asked when I could expect the grids to arrive.
The sent me the Parcel Force tracking details, and it seems I might be waiting a while.

My box of lovely C&C grids has arrived safely in SWAZILAND.

Last time I checked this was no where near Switzerland (where I actually live), and indeed not even in Europe (the shipping zone I selected).

I read it as Switzerland and couldnt understand the problem at first then realised you had put that they arrived in Swaziland - big fat oooops!

Bwahaha! My brother once sent my mom a necklace from England. He put SA at the bottom of the address, meaning South Africa. The problem is, the code for South Africa is ZA, and so it first went via Saudi Arabia before FINALLY arriving here many many months later! :woot:

SWAZLIAND? how on earth did they write that instead of Switzerland? Surely they must have thought "oh this is the first time we have had a customer all the way from Swaziland" and didn't find it "strange" and want to double check.

I have a friend who whenever she sends me anything the parcel ends up taking a tour of Canada before getting to me, this means it takes about 2 months instead of 2 weeks. Everything is written correctly it just somehow ends up in the mail sacks for Canada and comes to me eventually with lots of Canadian postal stickers and rubber stamp marks on.
Now whenever she posts something and its not here after 2 weeks we joke "It's in Canada".. which ironically it probably is!
It only happens with her and she even tried sending from different mail outlets in case it was just one dippy postal center.

That's hilarious. The dangers of drop down boxes/lists and online postage labels. It must have cost a fortune to send them there, too. A good old fashioned post office worker would have immediately queried it.

I'm glad your poor piggies are getting replacement grids sent to them.

Ahaha. You know somebody somewhere is in trouble now, that's an expensive mistake to make. And yet it's actually far easier done than people realise.

Semi related, but the postman once handed me the mail for the entire street that I lived on at the time. I didn't realise this til after he'd left (I had a parcel that needed signing for) and he had to come back and be like "UH.." I think I practically threw them at him like "THESE AREN'T MINE TAKE THEM AWAY!" Poor bloke. Bet he's never done that again.

@Swissgreys have you checked the tracking on the new one yet to make sure it's not off to some "exotic" location again.

Ha!
Thankfully the new parcel is due to arrive Monday morning :yahoo:
Here in Switzerland this time!

Which is just as well because the girls are now living in the floor time pen due to Ruby (always Ruby) getting a little 'grumpy' with Lucy.
I think they are fine as a pair, they just need more space, and the 3 x 2 was not working out for them.
But I don't want their pairing to break down, because I am running out of options for Ruby!

If all else fails could Ruby not live with your DD1 as a bonded pair :lol!:
