Holes?

In the wild so guinea pigs live in holes? there is a hole in my garden from where the old roots are from a tree, that was moved roots in bad winds. i put the piggies run there and i seen that most of my piggies just ignored it, but then i seen smidge digging in it. do piggies live in underground holes in the wild or play in them, if so ill be sticking some pvc tube in my garden under the ground so they can safely tunnel. (well, try too.) ::)
 
lol no I dont think so... I asked myself this the other day too :D
But no i dont think they do... they just hide in bushes etc...
 
I read somewhere before I got piggies that in the wild they live in nests that other animals have made and left. Might be wrong ?
