It's back to that time of the year when I start to become concerned about what to do with our 2 bundles of fluff when we go on holiday. Last year there was nobody I knew ( and / or trusted with the guineas ) at home for the duration we needed for our summer holiday so the guineas went in to boarding. Although I did worry about them needless to say they were fine when I went back to collect them 2 weeks later.
Anyway .... I will probably need to get boarding for them again this year and I think the lady who looked after them last year might not be doing it anymore. Can anyone recommend any boarding in Ayrshire .... I don't want to send them to one that has dogs and cats too. Thanks :)

As far as I'm aware there's only hutches over in the east for rescue/boarding in Scotland. There was a place in Gretna but I'm not 100% they're still running. Where in Ayrshire are you?

Thanks Nicola - I'm near Kilmarnock but would be willing to go within about 1/2 hour . Anymore than that isn't fair for the wee furries. My boys came from the rescue in Gretna Green originally and it's far too far away for boarding. I will keep looking !

Hello! I use Holly Hops Boarding in
Mossblown. Holly is the woman who runs it and she is absolutely fantastic! She is so friendly and knowledgable and went above and beyond when she was helping me with syringe feeding my wee guinea pig Misty before she went to TEAS sanctuary down south. Her website is http://www.hollyhops.co.uk and all the contact details are there. Just let me know if you need any more info xx
