Hello,

I am thinking of purchasing a one bedroom holiday cottage here in Cornwall with the facility to accommodate small animals.

There will be cages and runs available (free of charge) so guineas/hamsters etc. could travel in their pet carriers if this is easier. I have indoor guinea pigs myself so will certainly have no objection to them being in the cottage.

Would this facility be tempting - I am trying to gauge interest?

I think its a great idea, I have too many to take on holiday with me plus I have a camper van but I think its great and i'm sure plenty will use you :)

Sounds good to me. Most of the cottages you see, sleep 4 or 6 & it's not economical when there's just 2 of you. The option to take your piggies as well is a bonus. We can't have much of an holiday at present because our 14 year old dog has heart problems & needs lots of meds. But definitely interested for in the future.

Stewybus,

Thank-you for your comments. I didn't know if a one bedroom cottage would be a disadvantage, but it appears not.

my mum has holiday lets in angelesey one that sleeps 8 a caravan that sleeps eight and 2 barn conversions that sleep 4 but only has one room and a sofa bed the barn conversions are let out nearly all year round however the big house is often empty as people prefer to pay less and squash in. Thats what we have found anyway hope this helps with regards to the size.
