So my little H had a vets appointment this morning about her continuing urinary problems. And while we were there I mentioned that the cyst on her side had re-filled and she’s been nibbling at it.
I didn’t think we’d be long so she went on her own. Our lovely vet suggested doing more investigations and we decided that H could have the cyst removed at the same time. And then she said she could do it today rather than having to book in another day. So H spent the day at the vets. And finally she came home with the diagnosis of IC which I’d suspected and a very large wound which makes her unruly hair look even more scruffy.

And when Little H came home Ralph greeted her with a tender kiss and little 7 week old Charlotte told her to sling her hook as during H’s absence she was top piggy and H was no longer welcome. Charming!

So poor H has temporarily had to set up home next door to her lovely Ralph and bossy Charlotte until she feels more like having a bit of a reintroduction in the bonding pen. Ralph looks genuinely torn. Bless him.

Holly hopes it will all look better after a good night’s sleep.

Poor Holly. She'll have to let Charlotte know who's top pig again and its not Charlotte.

Poor Holly and poor you!

At least I have IC and a freshly spayed sow with two different piggies! (And the nasty cold in us humans...)

All the best for a good recovery and managing Holly's IC.

Poor girl. Sending best wishes from us. It seems Dot has i.c still and was spayed during it. The loxicom helps alot, but hers is rather mild. So many forum sows are getting this

Poor Holly! Thats a big wound but she looks happy to be home and tucking in to her hay, healing wherks Holly! X

I hate when that happens - always feel bad for the one left out. Hope Holly recovers quickly and is able to reassert her position soon! x

Poor Holly, hopefully she is feeling much better soon and able to put Charlotte back in her place

I’m astounded that a 7 week old sow could find such feistiness in her. Anyhow, Holly is enjoying a bit of peace in her own little section of the c and c (thank goodness it’s so versatile) and is looking quite bright. I suspect she will be back to her usual self in a day or so.

Apparently the cyst was much deeper underneath than it looked from the surface. But she’s not looking uncomfortable, so I am relieved.

Sending sweet Holly healing vibes. Get well very quickly Holly so you can put little Charlotte in her place and have a snuggle with Ralph. Xx

Holly is just the most gorgeous piuggy ever - glad she is doing ok, and fingers crossed that as soon as she feels better she can sort out Miss Charlotte!

Little Miss Charlotte being the boss .... I hope that Holly is feeling better after a night on her own and that she perks up soon ... Little Ralph sounds like a sweetie  xx

Aww poor little Holly. Well hopefully she is on the mend now and can get back to her normal self.

Get well wishes to Holly xx

Hope Holly is ok and feeling better this morning.
Fingers crossed she is back with her beloved Ralph soon( he sounds like a real sweetie). I'm sure she will put little miss Charlotte back in her place.
Big hugs.xx

Holly and Ralph had a little grown ups time together in the run on the grass this evening. Once they were settled little Charlotte was allowed to join them. I am pleased to say that Holly and Ralph soon re-established some control over this little hooligan, who has been behaving impeccably eve since. All 3 are back in a freshly cleaned out and rearranged cage and so far all is well.
