I live in Scampton village, famous for the Dambust
It is one year ago to the day I got Holly. I came by her through guinea pig rehome after enquiring about two sows - sisters one of which was blind. I had not long lost my Sleepy who was blind and was wanting to give a home to two more piggies. Unfortunately/fortunately they had both been rehomed when I had enquired, however, the lady at the rescue said we have a sow looking for a home, would I like to see her? I was e-mailed this picture.

As you can imagine, I contacted them straight away and said I would love her.

I was told Holly was between 2 and 3 years old and had never lived with another piggy, she was very matted when she came in rescue and didn't know what to do with vegetables bless her.
She knows what vegetables are now, she even steals from Mildred and Mildred is boss pig :))

Holly is such a sweet and gentle piggy and without her we would not have our other girlies Poppy and Peggy :)
 
Oh what a beautiful piggie! I do have a soft spot for long haired piggies and she is so beautifully marked.
 
Holly is a stunning pig, really gorgeous. You can see how much healthier and shinier she is now, you can see how much she's loved. :)
 
AWWW - you can really see how much Holly has come on and the difference friends and a loving home have made to her!

Aww she's so cute! x) I'd love to have a longhaired guinea-pig one day they are adorable

I can't believe it's been a year already?! Where DOES the time fly? I remember you saying about meeting her and getting her as if it was yesterday. x
