Hollys hard spot?

I have a 4 year old Piggy Holly who I adopted in February, since we got her she has had a hard spot of skin with no fur on just at the top of her bum, this doesn't affect her in anyway what so ever she doesn't flinch or anything when we touch it, is it just that she is old and these things happen?

I would get this checked out by a vet. It may be a cyst and they are often nothing to worry about but some need to be seen to.

It isn't raised in anyway it's just like she's lost fur and the skin has hardened over, it feels like how our skin goes on the bottom of our feet, she was in the pets at home adoption centre and had it when she was in there, I know they're not the best but surely they would of checked her over when she arrived in their care?

Is it her grease gland? Sows have one, too. Hafina (my own older sow) was quite bony there.

I think it must be her grease gland after looking at pictures, but I've read that they need cleaned quite often, but I have never seen it get dirty, she is quite bony there too!
