Now it's wintery time and the piggies are nice and warm inside, they don't get grass. Because of the snow melting and turning the garden into a swamp the grass is scarce and not enough to give to the piggies.
I was wondering who grows their own Grass? An if you do what types of grass do you grow for them and how? I've wanted to grow grass and never got round to it and always thought that the piggies would destroy the grass in a couple of minutes then they'd have to wait 1-2 weeks for more grass to grow.
I don't like the idea of buying grass turf because of the chemicals and preservatives some companies use.
Please help as the piigies would love lots of fresh juicy grass to munch on!:))
Thanks:)

in am going to give it a try this weekend. I have some normal grass seed which I bought for my lawn to plant on the bald patches. I am buying a big seed tray and a tray to go under it then going to grow it on the floor in my kitchen next to my big glass sliding door. I'll let you know how i get on
