Home grown orchard grass

I have no idea whether the orchard grass I grew is any different to normal grass |) but it went down a treat

Minx and Flumpet dived straight in

Delilah wasn't too sure at first and adopted a sheltered position...

... but soon told Minx to budge over...

... and when the others gave in and went for a lie down, she valiantly pushed forth on her own

I didn't let them eat it all in one go so they have some for another day. I took loads of pics but they were munching so fast they are almost all out of focus. Hence this rather bizarre photo of Minx

I got the seeds on ebay.

Although it's only a small bag I've got loads left to grow. I was mainly being too lazy to go out and buy normal grass seed but was also curious to see what it turned out like. I'm such a piggy slave. |)
