Homemade birthday card from my mum

Aw my old mum (terminally ill but still full of fun) brought me the first part of my birthday present today, a card she made me showing the guinea pigs driving my car (a red fiat 500) and... a gift wrapped coriander plant! She said Jezebel wanted to gift wrap a big carrot but Clover convinced her the coriander was a better option then we had takeaway pizza and piggy cuddle time it was lovely.

Here's my mum today with big pig Clover its so nice she loves the piggies, we always had piggies and bunnies and hamsters when I was a kid and its lovely seeing her enjoy her sunday afternoon piggy cuddles!

Best food going, and pasta bolognese with meatballs and garlic bread with olive oil dip. And a moist carrot cake drizzled with double cream for afters

My mum goes to an arts and crafts class during her daycare at the Marie Curie hospice and apparently she caused lots of trouble by insisting on making me a birthday card when the "organised activity" was painting trees my mum is a bit of a rebel!

Aww thats a lovely card, a wonderful personal touch ... better than painting trees too & she kept with the arty craft theme
