Oh they are hanging treats! Id love to know what you put in them! I'd like to make some for my piggies! The idea you had to hang them up by paper clips is good!

They r made from pellets and ready grass blitzed up porridge oats and then lots of veg and a bit of fruit for sweetness... In this case carrots cucumber red and yellow pepper and a few peas I used watermelon for sweetness and juice. The pepper and peas make colourful chunks.

I should say I blitzed dry stuff first then added oats. Then did fruit and veg and then mixed in a bowl I put a bit of leafy veg at this point to bind it all and water to make a thick drying paste, I then rolled in cling film and stuck in the fridge overnight. Before removing film and then baking.

Thank you! They sound very yummy! They are sort of like Piggie breakfast biscuits because of the pellets and veg in them! I will defentely be baking some and I think I will make some small treats too to give as a treat once a week or so! How long did you bake them for? I can't wait to make some for them and I also have very small cutters which I will use to make the small treats with! It's a great idea because you know they are healthy! The pats at home ones ( stickles) have added sugar in! I give them occasionally ( once every 2-3 months) as my pigs love them but they are unhealthy and your diy ones are healthy!

They seem to be going down well but the hangers didn't work as I hadn't baked them enough, soggy middles, a rebake later and all is well... I think next time I'd maybe make them smaller.

I make mine treats , they love them. I use up the last of their pellets, including the dust bits you usually throw away, Blitz them to crumbs, then chop up veg like cucumber, apple, carrot, their favourites really, then blitz all together. Use cucumber as the water content is good to bind the mix together. Roll out and chill for half hour. Then cut into squares, or shapes and bake on a low oven for an hour so they nice and crunchy:):) My piggies really enjoy these and I know there isn't any funny additives in them:)
