Homemade Treats

Hello,

Has anyone tried making your own nut , herb, etc type snacks for guinea pigs?
Here are some examples of what I'm talking about.

I grow my own herbs and purchase the ones for cooking all the time and sometimes they go dead before i can use them all, so I'm looking for a way to make little guinea pig snackies of their favorite herbs. So it would be great if anyone has tried to and give me some pointers.

What a great idea!

I have never tried it, sorry I cant be more help. But it doe sound like a fantastic thing to do for your piggies.

I tend to use the fresh herbs I have left as treats, I hide them on top of their sleeping houses or tie them up near the top of the cage so they have to work out how to get them - keep them entertained

I have and they went down a treat! I used pellets, a bit of banana and grated apple, chucked in sum readigrass and whacked them in the oven. Went down a storm with my lot, sadly it was quite time consuming though so not made them since. Thinking of whacking up a batch sometime soon though!

Hmm, might have a bash at doing something like this, I love baking and experimenting with food
