Honestly, I just can't win!

You balance each other out so you can’t get rid of each other @Betsy 😁 Mine is lovely. He gave in when I badgered him about getting the girls...shouldn’t have gone there 🥺 and he loves them almost as much as me now. More the boars who’ve been with us longer.

My OH moans about them, they are so tying! but he does drive all the way to Northampton and back and loves them really (I do drive but obviously he likes a MAN at the wheel!). Is there not an allotment society near you @Betsy they would jump at the chance of free hay and poos to compost!
I’m sure you can think of other ways to get your own back! 🤔

Men = black and white thinking . Women = every colour of the rainbow 🌈 thinking . This becomes evident when me and the wife order a take away . I either fancy a food or i dont, she has to umm and arrr about it for around half hour . Grrr
Ah, you love her really! 😆 It would be a dull world if we were all the same

Mine told me I had to get rid of some of the piggies.....so I got rid of him instead!
To be fair, I think things were pretty much over before that! Sadly, we just grew apart. He liked to be in charge and when we first got together, I needed someone like that, as I was so quiet and shy and had no confidence in myself, but then all that changed! I'm very proud of what I've achieved since being on my own. I started my own business, I founded a charity, I'm studying for a degree! I've got lots of other things I want to achieve too!

I think its all good splitting for the best . But i hate it when women label every man the same . I have mates who go out still at 32 and go behind their wives or girlfriends backs . I cant stand cheating, ivd never done it and never would. Its my absolute top hate in life . This isnt aimed at anyone. Just having a rant lol😂😂😂

Men! Just get rid! That’s what I did and have never looked back! 🤣
Too right! I can't even imagine anyone trying to tell me what animals I could or could not have! They wouldn't last five minutes! Plus I can't stand being driven, unlike most of my friends who seem to like being the passenger!

I see @pig in the city has put a post on Facebook saying she posted on some groups, asking if people were interested in stuff for their compost heap and has been inundated with people wanting it!
That's right, l had several people wanting it, in the end l had to ration the number of bags! I guess everyone is gardening at the moment !

Christian and Meg had a good wander round last night when I put them on their fleece, Betsy and Dennis don't know yet. I expect Betsy will find it all a bit strange and peculiar at first as she is as blind as a bat now but she'll get used to it quickly enough.

Haha love the husband and son’s contribution 🤣

I keep forgetting to get them when I go! And I work there. Though I don’t remember seeing them out front anymore.

Tesco had a massive amount of wine boxes a couple of days ago. Hope that Tesco still have them when I next go. I'll be going through at least 2 a week.
Empty unfortunately. They were the empty boxes that the wine bottles come in.

How are your piggies enjoying their fleecy liners now? I hope they are snuggly warm!
I presume being in a garage there isn't the issue of fleece feeling damp when the weather isn't dry? I'm hoping the same goes for my hutch in the outbuilding once I get my 3 piggies in there. I realised today that the liners I had made for my 5x3 c&c, having shrunk a little, now nicely fit the hutch when folded in half - so I can use those for the bottom part and get some made up to fit the top half with its sleeping section and ramp hole 👍

Do you still use your hutch hugger and/or snuggle now the hutch isn't outside?

The liners have only been in the hutch for a week. The piggies seem to be enjoying them. The inside of the hutch certainly wasn't damp at all with all the rain we had last winter the hay was nice and dry (except for the wee) so hopefully I won't have a problem with damp fleece in the winter and it's rained this week quite heavily here and the fleece was dry.

I have kept the hutch snuggle and hutch hugger on the hutch but I keep the front open. When it was -3 outside it was around 5-8 degrees in the garage so the piggies never got too cold. I did give them snuggle safes too.

Is your garage quite cool generally? I had my temperature gauge in my outbuilding during the winter and it never went below zero even on frosty nights, but I can see that today at 1pm it was only 13 degrees as the sun wasn't yet on it. I hope it's not going to be too cool for their comfort...

I have a remote thermometer in my garage and one outside atm it's 4.20 and it's 21 degrees in my garage (the personnel door is off the Conservatory) and its 15 degrees outside. My house faces south so the sun is on the garage most of the day. When it's cloudy it's around the same temperature as outside or a few degrees warmer.

We use a combo of puppy liners, old towels, and plain fleece blankets. I’ve tried the special fleece liners with pockets for hides, but my boys never found the pockets so I use them occasionally just to spice things up. Their laundry is done at least once a week and it usually isn’t *too* bad

I just wondered how you were getting on with the Cande cosies liners. Thinking of ordering some myself but wasnt sure if they were good. Hope you dont mind me jumping on your thread!
