Thank you for checking in on us and thank you all for your kind words.
Sweep is doing okay- although I can tell he misses her.
I have contacted my local rescue and waiting to hear back. Hopefully a friend will make him sparkle again the way he did with Honor. But am so happy he is eating and even did a popcorn this morning for first time since losing Honor.

It's so great to read your reply. God bless poor Sweep, already doing a little popcorn because in some small way, he knows he's still got you and everything will get better with time.

I hope you're hanging in there, too. It's so traumatic to lose a piggy. I feel for you and hope you are finding comfort in Sweep and researching a new piggy friend.
 
Thank you. I am hanging in there. Still not 100percent sunk in I keep expecting to see her in her cage...I think it will be real once Sweep gets a new friend. Its so strange not doing her meds twice a day and hearing her wheek so loud for veg. X
 
When we lost Waddles on Jan 2 of this year, I thought I needed to grieve before getting a friend for Tyreese, but the friendly folks here on the forum suggested we get another sooner than later, taking our cues from Tyreese. So, just a few days later, by a stoke of what I can only identify as Divine Intervention, we were gifted Mr. Lily and I must say, my grieving has moved into the acceptance stage and I can remember Waddles with much happiness and less sadness now. Mr. Lily is the breath of fresh air that was taken from all of us when Waddles went to Rainbow Bridge.

I hope you can fondly remember her wheeks for veggies and gentle acceptance of her meds and soon you'll find another little spot in your heart to love another.
