Zanzan
Adult Guinea Pig
This is Merry. I adopted him in January from the RSPCA where he had come from a neglect case with 94 other pigs and had spent his life in a dog crate. He was the most nervous pig I have ever had, I don't think I saw him for the first week and once introduced to my girls he followed them round like a train, not doing anything unless they did it first. If I needed to take him out for weighing, etc and separate him from the girls he would emit a gut wrenching scream until returned to them. Anyway....today I took him out to do his nails and a few things....and no screaming! He sat on my knee very politely while I did his nails then stayed there and had some lettuce! I could tell he was not terrified and I am so proud of him
I just wanted to say to anyone who has a nervous pig just keep giving them time.....and tons of lettuce.....and don't give up. I love him so much and to see him enjoying his new life every day fills me with joy. Thank you for reading our story sorry I have rambled. Did I say how proud of him I am?!
