One of my guinea pigs is wooting and rasping.
I am going to stick the little man in the shower later! (not in the actual shower) - no worries about getting our bathroom steamy!

Firstly, I hope Womble is doing fine x

I think one of my little guinea pigs is going through the same thing, wooting and rasping are words well used.

You should get your boy seen by the vet if he sounds raspy.

So the rasping and hooting has gone today :-)
Replaced by a sound, as if one of his nostrils is partially blocked :-(

Just put him in the 'steam-room' and when we took him out, noticed a small light coloured bit of blood from his nose. I wonder if this is more the fact he has been in the steam room and it's clearing his airways?.

Booked into see the vets tomorrow. The only ones we trust are the ones in Northampton, over an hour away. We have some. I want to say, Lexicom, the vet mentioned to use. Hopefully, the little guy will be fine....

I’m sorry for your loss. Unfortunately they can go downhill very quickly. You are welcome to post about your piggy in the rainbow pet section.

I’ve moved these posts so the other thread stays on topic.

Thank you.
I was sure after chats with the vets last night, it was ok to take him down this morning. From Wednesday night to this. I know people say it can go downhill quickly.

We have his little brother on his own now :-(

You can go by him as to when you can introduce him to a new friend. Take care of yourself.
