Hope I Haven't Hurt My Poor Gusgus!

So after discovering my two boys had static lice (which I was horrified about!) they both had baths and I sprayed them both with lice spray. After a couple of weeks I noticed they still had it around near their faces, so today when I've sprayed them GusGus decided to take a massive leap from my lap and as I've gone to catch him I caught his leg in the process! He let out a loud squeak, I'm so worried I've hurt my poor boy! He seemed to drag it a little. I feel so upset, I've given them their veg and he's munching away fine and I haven't heard any more squeaks. What shall I do? I hope I haven't hurt him
Any advice for the lice too?

It's best to take them to the vets so you can get them properly treated for lice and also get his leg checked while your there People on here will advise you not to treat on spec (that's if you haven't taken them to the vets and have gotten something yourself to treat them).

Hi , l would keep a very close eye to Gusgus's leg, if he displays any sign of discomrort or he seems to be limping
I would take him to a vet asap

He needs to go to the vet anyway for the lice Honestly, four of my boars had them last year, then two of them again this year, they can get it from the hay. Also if there is something wrong with gusgus they can give him painkillers to help, he may well be ok though, but please do get the lice sorted out by a vet Sorry to harp on about it.

You can't turn the clock back - and we know you didn't mean this to happen.

I agree with Kerrie - always go to the vet for treatments - that way you can get a proper diagnosis and the right dosage of medicine.
