I wasn't a great mum to you but you always seemed to be happy running around with your brother. You always enjoyed destroying cardboard and your favourite type was toothpaste boxes.

The vet said that 2.5 years was a good age so I hope it was.


Your brother looks lost and I didn't expect this :(

He has been buried in the garden where I was going to grow grass for the piggies. In a paper bag as he also liked paper bags x

When I took him out of the box he had a broken leg and I don't know why. I am unsure if the vet injected him in the leg or what :(
 
Oh please try not to think of his leg, you would have noticed if he was like that when you took him to the vet, it must have happened after his passing and he would not have known of it xx

I stupidly put him back in with his brother to say goodbye and I reckon he's eaten his leg. I researched gerbil cannibalism last night and it is almost 90% likely to happen as they are never fully domesticated!
Not feeling so bad now as it was natural x

It might be a little early for cannibal talk :/
 
@piggyfan his brother really seems fine. He is the dominant one. He's been coming out to see me and be hand fed :)
