Hopeful – But Don’t Want To Be Too Hopeful…

How about Izzie /Izzy. Short for isambard &Elizabeth. U can combine the two &it sounds more of a piggy name :)

A name will come to you that suits her. She's beautiful whatever u decide :luv:
Xx

Boy/girl combos are the best :) hope they have a v happy future together. I'm awful at thinking of names and can never decide. What kind of character is she?

She's very vocal, extremely chatty and the friendliest little thing I've ever met.

Given that she's only been in the house since Saturday evening the fact she'll come over and beg (still don't know what she wants with that one); will let me stroke her whilst sitting in the run and is causing Brunel to be a bit jealous as he doesn't really like cuddles (but he will happily sit next to you on the sofa or come and say 'hello' through the bars as long as you don't stroke him), she's the boldest little pig I've ever met.

She seems very interested in the dustpan and brush when I'm cleaning out. Loves pepper and cucumber, but I don't think she'd ever been offered parsley before as she seemed very unsure as to what it was the other evening and Brunel then nicked most of it before she had chance to do much more than sniff at it. :xd:

I’m sure something will present itself to us in time. I wonder if Brunel designed/built and bridges with good names.

I have been toying with this for a couple of days, Brunel was not one for naming his engineering masterpieces pretty feminine names!
Clifton, Box, Royal Albert, Great Eastern, George V to name a few! His Mother and eldest daughter were Sophia though, what about Sophie?
Whatever name she ends up with she is a lovely girl and she is very lucky to have such a lovely home with you.

There's no easy girly names from the man himself. The nearest I've got is Ivybridge as he built a viaduct there - but she's not really an Ivy.

I think we're moving away from the themed names. :(

My husband favours 'Masiy', I'm getting very close to naming her 'Dusty' as she has an obsession with siting in the dustpan whilst I sweeping out their run.

Whatever she ends up being called she is the firendliest little thing; and also the first pig I've ever had who begs. Pepper seems to be the ultimate reward at present.

Thank you. I've always tried to do my best for all the pets I've ever had. I really hope she's happy. She's obviously been loved in the past as otherwise surely she'd never be so bold and friendly in a new environment.

Awwww I love a happy ending :D She sounds very much like my piggy Daisy, who I sadly lost in August, she would sit in my dustpan & come up to me every day, let me tickle her tummy (She used to lie on her side!) She also would beg for extra pieces of veg too :D Congratulations to the happy couple! :D

Just caught up with this thread! Great news, isn't she just adorable

Cannot wait to see more pigtures. I love her colouring I bet you and Brunel are over the moon
