Teenage Guinea Pig
I've read people mention a hormone spike, but at what age does this happen? My 2 girls have just turned one. Ginny had a season 2 weeks ago and still hasn't stopped rumble strutting. She's all show as her sister Luna is in charge really.
Luna tends to give her a quick lunge to tell her off, but has occasionally chased her round the cage, lunging and chattering her teeth at her. Ginny squeals really loudly at this and eventually gives in.....only to start rumbling again 10 minutes later.
It's driving me potty. I'm hoping it's this mystical hormone spike, but I'm worried about ovarian cysts.
They are both booked in at the vets for a health check on Friday, but I wanted be be prepared with information before I go.
